19th CENTURY FRENCH ECOLE, AFTER ANTOINE COYSEVOX (1640-1720). Bust of Prince Louis II of Bourbon-Condé, known as the Great Condé (1621-1686). Important bronze bust with brown patina, resting on a pedestal base, made after a lost wax by Susse Frères in Paris, representing the prince posing in the antique style adorned with a cuirass richly decorated with a lion's head and fleur-de-lys, after the famous bronze bust made by Antoine Coysevox in 1688 and now kept in the Louvre Museum. Slight wear from the time, but good general condition. H. : 75 cm - W. : 67 cm.
