Two handkerchiefs, white embroidery, 19th century. - Lot 57
Two handkerchiefs, white embroidery, 19th century. Finely hand embroidered with plumetis, sand stitch and Valenciennes hemmed and spread thread with bobbins, the largest one around 1830, each corner with a large fretworked cartouche framed with garlands of flowers, with in the center, a young boy on a boat holding a large landing net while watching four ducks on a lake, CM number in one corner (good condition, rare very fine repeats, rare small spots) the other, later, framed with flexible eyelets and MB number in one corner.
