Marie Dumas, Sous le balcon, circa 1890-1900Wide fan, double leaf in cabretille painted in the neo-gothic style of musicians playing an aria under the balcony of two beautiful tenderized by the music. Their gallants languish as they admire them on the right, signed "M. Dumas" on the right, decorated with a fine border, and a very rich ivory* frame pierced, engraved and gilded in the taste of the sculptor Henneguy. The throat carved in fine relief of a young woman in a medieval costume stripping a daisy under the amused gaze of two loves. The sculpted panache of a woman, leaning against a railing, listening to a musician's dreamy love. On the other, two loves, one is occupied by the reading of a letter. gilded metal belly strap and trimming glans. 36 cm - H.f. 22 cm (TBE, slight wear) In a box covered with cream satin with the name "H. Bach Madrid".
