The farewell of Aeneas to Dido, around 1740-1750 "Full flight" fan, opening at 180 degrees. The leather sheet, lined with paper, painted with Aeneas gouache, joining his sailboat to leave Dido. On the sides, characters and small landscapes in cartels, a soldier approaches a woman, an ivory mount* pierced, engraved and gilded. In the centre, under a trellis dome, musicians play for a shepherdess. 30 cm-H.f. 13.5 cm (major restorations)
