The joy of the bride, around 1740 Folded fan, double sheet of wallpaper of two engaged couples walking towards the altar where Hymen, god of marriage, awaits them. A garden in the background hosts the festivities. On the left, a man wears the pilgrim decorated with the shells of the pilgrims of Santiago de Compostela. A white mother-of-pearl frame pierced, sculpted, engraved and burgautée with pairs of gallants among rich floral arabesques. 26.8 cm/ H.f. 12 cm (small cuts on the leaf, rest of the frame)
