D'après Robida, Paris au Moyen-Age, 1900
Folded fan, double leaf in chromolithographed and gilded fabric, English mounted. Robida takes as its setting the banks of the Seine, hosting architectures reminiscent of Paris in the Middle Ages for the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900. In a cartel on a golden background, the partially erased inscription "Vieux Paris". Silent backhand. Stamp of the fan maker "Duvelleroy Paris" of the "Maison Larue rue Royale". Wooden frame. H.t. 24.5 cm/ H.f. 12.3 cm (BE, old glue traces)
