Mahogany and mahogany veneer table clock with gendarme hat, gilt bronze ornamentation for the side handles, the four feet and the framed flower friezes. The pewter dial is engraved with a pagoda and butterfly, set in a gilded brass frame engraved with Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes and a railway, with a window for the seconds. Fine ornamentation of ormolu foliage scrolls with a dial for striking or cutting. Gilt brass movement engraved with a phoenix with outstretched wings surmounting a fruit basket.
