Havana calf, gilt fillets and cold roulette framing, ornate ribbed spine. PROVENANCE: John Arthur Brooke (bookplate) -- Douglas Peter Crossman (bookplate) Missing last leaf, U4 (errata), ink stains on first two leaves, some foxing. Arthur Stringer was a naturalist hunting on Viscount Conway's lands at Portmore, on the shores of Lough Neagh, in County Antrim, west of Belfast, where his work was printed.
