The bouquet, circa 1900
Broken bone fan painted in the 18th century style. On the front, in a park, a couple face each other, the young man offering a bouquet of flowers. Around them, groups of people watch them or go for a walk. The simulated throat is painted with small medallions in the Chinese style.
The reverse painted with a vast mountain landscape with a lake overlooked by a church on a rocky outcrop.
