Diana and her nymphs, circa 1900 Broken type fan in painted and varnished bone of a mythologically inspired scene with Diana at the edge of a wood brandishing her bow. Her companions stand beside her, along with a dog. To the left, a nymph runs behind a stag as it enters a pond. To the right, three nymphs bathe. On either side, a rich, fine decoration of beaded flowers, highlighted in green, red and gold. In the center of the simulated throat, nymphs, including one blowing a horn. On the reverse, a river flowing through a forest in the center, and two views of ruins on the sides. Height 21.5 cm (minor restorations)
