BRIEFCASE. - Lot 415
BRIEFCASE. In green leather, rectangular shape, framed by a gilded stylized frieze decoration, silver lock, key missing. Compartmented interior with green leather flap. French work, late 18th century, by Mortier-Pille in Paris. Some scratches, but overall good condition. Provenance : belonging to Count Jean-Auguste de Chastenet de Puységur (1740-1815), Minister of War under King Louis XVI, preserved by direct descent.
