Matthieu Chiara was born in 1983. A graduate of the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg in illustration, he won third prize in the Jeunes Talents competition at the Angoulême festival in 2013. Alongside his comics, he also engages in copper and zinc engraving, which fuel his graphic research. He lives and works in Paris.
