Chinese work, 19th century.
In gilded metal, decorated with cloisonné polychrome enamels depicting scenes from the life of a frog in its aquatic world on a yellow enamelled background, the upper part opens with a catch in the shape of a small frog resting on a green enamelled water lily leaf. Minor accidents, but overall good condition.
