Manufacture Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, 1879-1885.
Of circular form, in glazed earthenware, with relief decoration of a snake, a lizard, a small frog, a butterfly and a bee on a bed of lichen.
Work by José Alvares da Cunha (1849-1901), follower of Bernard Palissy.
Damage, but good overall condition.
