Lot of two artistic plates, 1- la réunion de deux personnalités suisses : porcelain plate signed Juliette Calame on the back (1864-1933, talented painter and illustrator) with remarkable decoration on the marli, with medallions (3) representing fabulous birds and the others (3) gilded stars, in the center the arms decorated in gold and silver, with the arms, helmet and mantling of Charles Barde (1848-1932), architect active in belle époque Geneva, deputy of the Geneva Grand Council. This may be a unique piece. Good condition (diam.: 20 cm). 2- in earthenware with very fine Rouen decoration in blue monochrome and gold fillet highlighting on a bluish background (rare), central covenant arms with the astonishing composition of a crowned lion behind the two shields and holding them, with the motto "j'y tiendrai", of Baron Jérome Pichon, bibliographer and one of the most famous bibliophiles and collectors of the 19th c. (1812-1896), married in 1841 to Rosalie Clarmont (whose coat of arms features a sun surmounting a mountain). They lived at the Hôtel de Lauzun on Quai d'Anjou. Good condition (diam.: 24.5 cm)
