Set of 4 cups and saucers from different families: 1) Minton earthenware (1883) with rich antique decoration on the saucer rim and cup border, polychrome central arms of the Chassarel family. A chip on the rim of the saucer, cup handle glued back (diam. saucer: 13.3 cm, H. cup: 6 cm). 2) unmarked fine porcelain, gilded and green fillets, gilded and polychrome crowned monogram. On this service, the large pieces bear the coat of arms of the alliance and the small ones are monogrammed NG with marquis crown for the 1849 marriage of the Marquis des Nétumières to Aimée de Givenchy. The Marquis des Nétumières became embassy secretary and secret cloak-and-dagger cameraman to H.S. the Pope. Very good condition for the cup, a small chip at the edge of the saucer (diam. saucer: 12.2 cm, H. cup: 6.4 cm). 3) Cauldon fine earthenware (ca. 1880-1900) with blue alliance coat of arms on cup and saucer from the Jacquelot family. Good condition (diam. saucer: 12.9 cm, H. cup: 6.1 cm). 3) in Gien earthenware (1860), with Rouen blue decoration, helmet and crest (eagle holding a trefoil cross), interlaced double twisted handle. Good condition (diam.: 12 cm, H. cup: 5.2 cm)
