Polychrome Gien earthenware plate made in 1860 by Sidonie de Montmorency (1799-1860), Countess de La Chastre, with the coats of arms of her parents: Anne de Montmorency (1769-1844), Prince de Tancarville, married in 1797 to Marie-Henriette de Becdelièvre (1771-1833). Remaining unmarried, the Countess de La Chastre lived in her hotel on rue de Varennes in Paris. Rouen decor with five-color marli, central coat of arms with motto, ducal crown and Montmorency cry. A few chips around the edges (diam.: 24.5 cm)
