Two different earthenware service plates, the first in Gien, - Lot 126
Two different earthenware service plates, the first in Gien, marli decorated with blue and red lambrequins and garland, polychrome central coat of arms, smooth rim, good condition; the second, also in Gien, marli decorated in blue and yellow with dragons, cherubs and harvest barrels, polychrome central coat of arms, serrated rim, condition: numerous cracks. The two plates bear the coat of arms of Arthur de Pradier (1840-1902), Marquis d'Agrain, married in 1868 to Thérèse de Gestas de Lespéroux (1849-1926). They lived at Château de Bressey in Côte-d'Or (diam.: 25 cm and 22 cm).
