[CONCERTS - BALLETS RUSSES]. Cinq concerts historiques russes, published by Moreau Frères, Paris, 1907, folio (275x220 mm), 96 pages, numerous B&W illustrations, original paper binding, illustrated on cover with a Russian palace by Eugène Lanceray, text in French. Contemporary wear, but overall good condition. History: this libretto inaugurates the first Russian concerts given at the Théâtre de l'Opéra's Académie nationale de musiques, under the patronage of the Russian ambassador, Count Nelidow, Countess Greffulhe and Count Taniew, grandmaster of the Théâtre de l'Opéra. Taniew, Grand Master of the Emperor's Court, Serge Diaghilew and the participation of Feodor Chaliapin.
