Study of a costume for an oriental ballet. Watercolor, with gouache and gold paint highlights on paper, unsigned, preserved under glass in an antique blackened wood frame. On the reverse, handwritten in French by Boris Kniassef: "Étude d'un costume de mes ballets par P. Tchelitcheff, 1919, Sophia, Boris Kniaseff" and stamped in black ink by Boris Kniassef.
