MICHELE MORGAN (1920/2016): Actress and painter. Her lesser-known talents as a painter were the subject of several exhibitions organized by Marcelle Oury, the mother of her partner and close friend of artist Raoul Dufy. It was after meeting the Franco-Polish painter Moïse Kinsling in 1940 in the United States that the actress turned to the graphic arts. Works entitled "Composition" depict colorful geometric motifs.
An oil painting on panel by Michèle Morgan in the late '50s. Unsigned because it was part of her personal collection. Format 31x20 cm. Hand-framed by Gérard Oury in the early 60s for a Paris exhibition.
