MICHAEL JACKSON: A pair of moccasins, signed laterally and on both shoes in silver felt by Michael Jackson. These shoes were worn by Michael Jackson during rehearsals at New York's Madison Square Garden, and given to Arthur Hernst by the King of the Pop on the morning of the first concert, September 7, 2001: February 14, 2019 Sound engineer, I worked for more than 40 years in New York for shows. I've worked at Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, Broadway with a lot of artists and productions. In 2001 I was called to work on the Michael Jackson concerts at Madison Square Garden. I worked with him on the settings for his sound recordings. He was a very demanding professional but of extraordinary kindness. At the end of the rehearsals, he was very satisfied with the result of my work. On the morning of the firs concert, his assistant, Evvi Tavasci, gave me a pair of signed shoes as a gift.
