JOHNNY HALLYDAY: A 1-dollar silver coin minted by American c - Lot 257
JOHNNY HALLYDAY: A 1-dollar silver coin minted by American currency, dated 1893 and presented to Johnny Hallyday in 1993 by the Harley-Davidson brand. The Latin motto "E pluribus unum" (translation: United we stand, divided we fall) appears on the front of the coin, along with the Harley-Davidson trademark and a skull and crossbones. This motto was considered the motto of the United States until 1956. The reverse features the United States Of America with the American eagle and the motto "In God We Trust", the official motto voted by the U.S. Congress. This coin, minted especially for the famous motorcycle brand, uses the Great Seal of the United States as a de facto emblem of the country associated with this historic motorcycle brand. A true testament to the friendship between Harley-Davidson and Johnny Hallyday, one of the legendary brand's best customers and promoters in France. With silver-plated metal chain.
