JOHNNY HALLYDAY: A belt worn by Johnny Hallyday... - Lot 198 - Coutau-Bégarie
JOHNNY HALLYDAY: A belt worn by Johnny Hallyday during his military service with the 43rd Infantry Regiment in Offenburg, Germany, where he was drafted on May 2, 1964. A tank commander, Private Smet was an excellent weapons handler. He was promoted to Sergeant eight months later. At the end of this period, the rocker offered many of his outfits and accessories to his barrack mates and close associates. Included are 1 military accessory belt purchased by the rocker in the USA in the 90s from Levi's and 1 metal box with 2 packs of troop cigarettes in their original "Scaferlatti" packaging, distributed by the French Ministry of the Armed Forces in Hoffenbourg. A souvenir that the rocker treasured.
