Richly carved walnut chest: on the front, the Sacrifice of Abraham occupies a medallion flanked by two harpies with their backs to the scene; a frieze of lunules, palmettes and stylized shells on the upper part; a man and a woman topped with palmettes or feathers form the side jambs; wrought-iron handles on the sides decorated with feathers and rosettes; interior lined with an eclipette. Burgundy, Dijon, second half of the 16th century H. 70 cm - W. 148 cm P. 64 cm (some missing parts and restorations)
