Precious barometer in wood very finely carved and gilded, the round dial decorated with friezes of water leaves, pearls and a garland of flowers of jasmine openwork supported by a ribbon tied in a surround of clouds from which emerges a quiver with bow and torches with a couple of doves. The bottom decorated with two garlands of roses, daisies and flowers tied with ribbons framing a shield with two flaming hearts topped by a crown topped with roses. The posterior dial fixed under glass marked: L'ing. Chevallier place du pont neuf. 15 in Paris. Louis XVI period Jean Gabriel Augustin Chevallier, 1778 - 1848
