Gilded metal minaudière, decorated with radiating and squared-off panels, topped with a geometric motif enhanced by a calibrated sapphire bridge. The press-button opening features several covered compartments, a mirror and tubes for a lipstick and lighter. Signed André Schwob. Circa 1930/40. Dimensions: 12.8 x 8.4 x 1.4 cm A similar model, in gold and calibrated rubies signed Boucheron, is on display at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London under entry number M.44:1 to 4-1980.
