ROCHAMBEAU FAMILY. Silver-plated stewing spoon, engraved on the handle: "Rochambeau, To Lt. Gov. Jabez Boven R. I. 1780" and on the reverse a coat of arms under a comtal crown. Interesting historical item that belonged to Jean-Baptiste-Donatien de Vimeur de Rochambeau (1725-1807), who participated in the American War of Independence. Good condition. American work by the House of Gorham, early 19th century. L. : 31,5 cm
