Large embroidered panel or antependium, mid-18th century, unbleached linen canvas mainly embroidered with polychrome silk in shaded pastel stitch with a vase loaded with a large bouquet of poppies, pomegranates, roses, Mary's hearts, pansies and other flowers blooming all around. Mounted on stretcher and framed (rare small stains, nails around the edges), 91 x 182 cm.
