A silver shuttle-shaped oiler, resting on four feet with scr - Lot 370
A silver shuttle-shaped oiler, resting on four feet with scrolls and rocaille. The body is underlined in border of nets and scrolls supporting doors stoppers. The cup holders are made of shells and acanthus leaves. The body is engraved later with a coat of arms under a count's crown. The stoppers, of the XVIIIth century but probably reported (punch of discharge not identified), with decoration of scrolls and rocaille. Master-goldsmith: Edme-François Balzac, received in 1769 Paris 1772-1773 Weight: 724 g Length: 26 cm Two blue glass cruets engraved for one of vine branches, for the other of garlands of olive branches.
