Small mahogany and mahogany veneer dressing table decorated with ebony fillets and bronze rods, it rests on four sheath feet with gilt bronze lion's paw, joined by a rectangular strut, it opens with a drawer forming a writing table and two side pulls. On the tray a psyche composed of a double-sided mirror in molded and gilded bronze in the form of a shield supported by two sheaths topped by double busts of bacchantes. H. 120 cm, L. 43,5 cm, D. 35 cm Empire period Attributed to Martin Guillaume Biennais (1764 - 1843) (small accidents and missing parts, including the light arms) A similar dressing table, although more richly decorated, is preserved in the Louvre Museum OA 12875
