Large blue earthenware dish with triangular decoration and mantling in reserves on the marli and the wing; coat of arms in the center of azure, the chevron of gold, accompanied by three rings of the same, crown comtale in crest with helmet stamped and two unicorns in support, shield of the family Allenet. Lille, early 18th century D. 60.5 cm The Allenet family originated in Cognac. Members of this family were aldermen of this city and in particular Jacques Allenet, lawyer at the Parliament, squire, criminal lieutenant at the seat of Cognac, mayor in 1720 and 1721, secretary of the king and of his finances, lord of Dizedon, Nonnac and Pailleron. He married in 1706 Jeanne Dexmier.
