A two-compartment lacquer inrō with relief decoration called taka maki-e in gold and silver lacquer of three crabs, the bottom and interior treated in gold nashiji. Signed on the bottom. Height : 8 cm Width : 6 cm The cord is broken. Provenance : -Old collection of Vice-Admiral Edgar Eugène Humann (1838-1914), chief of staff of the Chief of Staff of the Navy who served in the China Seas. -By descent.
