Armchair in molded wood and grey lacquered, it rests on four fluted legs, square back and armrest decorated with tapestry. H.: 88.5 cm, L.: 59 cm, D.: 54 cm Louis XVI period. By Claude-Etienne Michard (1732 - 1757) Master on July 29, 1757. Red velvet upholstery and tapestry band (used) Provenance: The Comte de Salverte mentions a very important set ordered to Michard by the Duc de la Rochefoucauld d'Enville: eighteen large armchairs with square backs, fabric-covered armrests, sheath legs, which were in the Château de la Roche-Guyon.
