Clock in chased and gilded bronze, decorated with the figure of Cupid holding his bow and the flaming torch, topped by an oil lamp. Oil and decorated in application of athenians and trophies in gilded bronze. It stands on four ball feet. The white enamel dial with Roman numerals signed "Le Roy Horloger de Madame à Paris". H. 34.5 cm - L. 15 cm . D. 12 cm The House of Leroy was founded in 1747 by Basile Le Roy, a student of the master watchmaker Joseph Quétin. In 1785, his son Charles Le Roy, is received master clockmaker at 20 years. They set up their store under the arcades of the Palais Royal.
