The Robert Pichon workshops.
Robert Pichon was the head of the "Ateliers de dessin et lithographie R. Pichon", specialized in advertising graphics, in Paris. Among the works produced by his workshops where many artists worked in the 20s and 30s, we observe a variety of themes characteristic of the Art Deco period, motifs inspired by Fauvist colors, and subjects ranging from figuration (flora, fauna and classical mythology) to abstract geometric patterns.
