He Pao's travels 3. When the lanterns go out, plate 36. India ink and watercolor on paper, signed. 42.5x33 cm. Born in Vietnam, Vink trained at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Liège, then began drawing comics linked to Vietnamese culture: "Contes et légendes du Vietnam" in 1979 for the newspaper Tintin, followed by the series "Le Moine fou" (The Mad Monk), which began in 1984 in Charlie Mensuel.
