In-plane, 41 x 55cm, 36 plates (out of 38), portrait missing. contemporary binding in red morocco, framed in the Du Seuil style with angular crowned numerals and arms in the center of the boards, gilt, spine decorated with crowned numerals, fleur-de-lys and gilt scrolls, gilt roulette on the edges, gilt inner roulette, gilt edges. Collection of 36 large and beautiful engravings of the famous city and battle views of Louis XIV, from the series of the king's cabinet. The set, composed of 12 quadruple plates, 10 triple plates and 14 double plates, all spectacular and teeming with details, of a very inked print on strong paper, has remained very fresh. Without the portrait of Van der Meulen and two views.
