Spanish Gradual from the end of the 17th century. Large folio manuscript in black and red ink, on vellum, 40 x 60cm, [4] +CLIV ff. (of CLVI), 12 pl., antique binding in beige parchment on wooden ais, umbilicus, spandrels and metal clasps on the boards, metal plate nailed on the cuts and the inner corners. Important Latin liturgical manuscript on vellum skin, with 16 lines per page in Gothic script, ruled and rubricated. Decorated with ornamented lettering. The 12 large fully colored plates, of a royal cycle, could have been added later. Incomplete of 2 leaves (CXLVIII & CXLIX). Good condition. Some old mending. Many leaves faded. Endpapers renewed. Spine worn.
