GÉRAUD Edmond Collection of the various costumes of the inhabitants of Bordeaux and its surroundings. Drawn after nature by Mr. G. de Galard... Bordeaux, Lavigne jeune, [1819]. In-4, 23 x 32,5cm, [16] ff, 32 plates, POST-ISSUE binding in green long-grained morocco, gilt border on the boards, gilt title on the first board, mute spine decorated with gilt faux-nerfs and irons, cover preserved. A very nice album of 32 plates engraved by Ph. Le Roy after the Count of Galard (1779-1841), finely watercolored. The last four plates announced on the title were never published. A nice fresh copy with large margins. Colas 1153 ("This collection is very rare complete").
