First publication of the edition given by Denis Sauvage, the best of the 16th century. Elegant impression from the presses of the greatest printer of his time in Lyon, with beautiful lettering with a riddled background. A fine copy, ruled in red ink, from the libraries of Count Greffulhe (engraved heraldic bookplate) and the great bibliophile Raoul-Edouard Cartier (engraved bookplate). Title rebacked. Joints rubbed, skillful old restoration at tail, boards slightly rubbed.
