WALRUS IVORY CASE. - Lot 555
WALRUS IVORY CASE. Arkhangelsk, Russia, 1750-1770. Rectangular shape called "Teremok", with a hinged lid opening with a lock on the front side, interior padded with fabric. Decorated on each side with openwork ivory veneer and finely carved stylized motifs on a stained wood background. Wear and tear, missing, as is. H. 11 cm - L. 20.5 cm - D. 15 cm.
