BEAUTIFUL VASE IN HARD PORCELAIN. After a model of Auguste Shpis (1817-1904), Imperial Manufacture of Saint Petersburg, circa 1870. With central decoration on one side of a polychrome scene representing two putti fishing at the edge of a being on bottom of a forest and on the other side of a bouquet of polychrome rural flowers. The whole is surmounted by a large garland of oak leaves held by crossed bows. The body is framed by two open-worked catches in matt gold held by two women's heads ending in laurel wreaths. The whole rests on a circular gold base. Small accidents, but good general condition, missing the hat. Hollow mark: H. B. in Cyrillic characters. H. 37 cm - L. 21 cm.
