Translation: "You must already know from the charming Madame de Stockel what I am going to tell you, because yesterday I spoke to her about it. The young Duke of Montpensier, my nephew, has heard of your beautiful daughter and is very anxious to make her acquaintance. He came to see me to tell me about it and asked me to try to find out if this idea would be well received by you and Sandro. He is a nice looking young man, 28 years old, in excellent health, intelligent and wealthy, just the kind of husband one would want for his daughter, according to my ideas. He is going to Stockholm in June and he could come and stay with me in (...) and from there make visits "along the coast".
