Silver, flared at the top, engraved with his monogram in Cyrillic script A M (Alexander Mikhailovich) under imperial crown. Wear of time. Goldsmith's hallmark : Abraham Kemp & Son, active from 1882 to 1888. Weight : 236 g. Provenance : former collection of Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich of Russia (1866-1933), brother-in-law and confidant of Emperor Nicholas II.
