Emperor Nicolas I of Russia (1796-1855) surrounded by his Staff and his advisors. Beautiful colored lithograph signed at the bottom left "M. Adolphe", printed at Lemercier in Paris, representing him with the members of his government, from left to right: General Liprandi, General Osten-Sacken, General Dannenberg, Prince Menchikoff, Admiral Ricord, Count Nesselrode, Tsarevitch Alexander (future Tsar Alexander II) Alexander (future tsar Alexander II), the grand duke Michel Nicolaïévitch, the grand duke Nicolas Nicolaïevitch, Grand Duke Constantin Nicolaïevitch, Count Brock, General Luders, Marshal Paskévitch, General Rudiger and Prince Gortchakoff. Preserved in a modern gilt frame. Some foxing, but overall good condition. Sight : H. : 43,5 cm - W. : 57,5 cm. Frame : H. : 60 cm - W. : 74 cm.
