Background of a bonnet with a bird, spindles, Brussels, 1st half of the 18th century. Elegant well-balanced decoration of flexible palms and branches loaded with flowers, leaves and berries in symmetry, the center with the branch of foliage and berries supporting a perched bird with long tail and deployed wing, the motives connected by a drochel network, light ivory colored linen, around 1750. Dim. 25 x 23 cm. (good condition, a few pale freckles, a small tear in the network) We join a border in lace of Brussels to the spindles with motives of palms and flowers opened out connected by fine picotées bridles, cream linen. Dim. 2 m x 7 cm (good condition, later picots of border)
