Very large border or altar front in Milan lace, spindles, 3rd quarter of the 17th century. Rare wide front or altar cloth (or alb?) with motifs of flowers and foliage typical of the period, worked in free symmetry along a vertical axis and linked together without bridles or network. In ivory-colored linen thread with the center of the motifs embroidered with gold thread motifs, in counterpoint of the linen spindle motifs. Dim. 3,15 m x 68 cm.
