Attribué à VEVER 18k gold bun comb set with a plate and three opal cabochons in a finely chiseled mistletoe leaf design, enhanced with old-cut diamonds in a pearl setting. The teeth in tortoiseshell. French work, Art Nouveau (very slight crack in the opals, trace of glue, small restorations). Gross weight : 11.9 g. Similar combs in quality, shape and subject can be found in Alastair Duncan's book, Art Nouveau designers at the Paris Salons 1895-1914 Jewellery, volume II p. 254 and 263.
