A pair of Chinese porcelain vases of baluster form with a slight bulge on the neck decorated with white and blue flowering vases and instruments of a scholar in cartouches in reserve on a powder blue background, partially gilded. Qianlong period (1736 - 1795) Three-handled Chinese-style oil lamp frame in chased and gilt bronze. English work in the taste of the Brighton pavilion, circa 1840. H. : 41,5 cm (Restoration on the edges of the necks of the vases, pierced bottom, formerly mounted with electricity) A pair of vases with a similar mounting in the Henri Samuel estate (Christie's Monaco, 15 December 1996)
